SUSHI (SUSHI)

DESCRIPTION

SushiSwap is a decentralized exchange (DEX) built on the Ethereum blockchain that allows users to trade cryptocurrencies and participate in yield farming and liquidity provision. It was launched in 2020 as a fork of the popular decentralized exchange, Uniswap.

SushiSwap introduced a unique feature called "yield farming" that incentivizes users to provide liquidity to the platform by earning additional tokens as rewards.SushiSwap operates on an automated market maker (AMM) model, which uses liquidity pools and smart contracts to facilitate token swaps without the need for intermediaries. Users can trade their tokens directly from their wallets and also participate in providing liquidity to the platform by depositing their tokens into specific pools. In return for providing liquidity, users receive SUSHI tokens, the native cryptocurrency of SushiSwap, which can be used for governance, staking, and additional rewards.
