SUI (SUI)

DESCRIPTION

SUI is the native utility token of the Sui Network, a layer-1 blockchain designed to deliver a high-performance platform for decentralised applications (dApps) and smart contracts. Sui utilises the Move programming language and focuses on scalability and low-latency transactions to support a wide range of use cases, including DeFi, gaming, and NFTs. The SUI token serves multiple roles within the ecosystem, including paying for transaction fees, participating in the network’s proof-of-stake consensus mechanism, and enabling users to participate in governance decisions. SUI token holders can stake their tokens to secure the network and earn rewards, while also influencing the platform's development through governance proposals.
