SEI (SEI)

DESCRIPTION

SEI is the native utility token of the Sei Network, a layer-1 blockchain specifically designed for trading and decentralised finance (DeFi) applications. Built using the Cosmos SDK, Sei Network aims to optimise trading speed, scalability, and security, offering a high-performance infrastructure for exchanges and DeFi protocols. The SEI token plays a pivotal role in the ecosystem, being used for transaction fees, staking to secure the network, and participating in governance. SEI holders can stake their tokens to help secure the network and earn rewards, as well as participate in the platform’s governance by voting on proposals that shape the future direction of the network.
