ILV is the native utility token of the Illuvium ecosystem, a blockchain-based decentralised role-playing game (RPG) that combines elements of gaming and decentralised finance (DeFi). As an integral part of the Illuvium network, the ILV token is used for various functions within the ecosystem, including governance, staking, and participation in in-game economies. Holders of ILV tokens can earn rewards through staking, vote on key decisions affecting the development of the Illuvium protocol, and engage in governance processes. The token also facilitates transactions within the Illuvium platform, including purchasing in-game assets and participating in auctions.In the Illuvium ecosystem, ILV tokens are central to the game’s economic model, serving as the primary medium of exchange for in-game assets, rewards, and governance rights. Players use ILV tokens to acquire rare items, enhance their gameplay experience, and participate in the game's governance by voting on protocol upgrades and changes. The tokenomics of ILV are designed to incentivize active participation and engagement within the ecosystem while supporting the growth and development of the Illuvium platform.

Satstreet Inc. has reviewed and assessed ILV prior to making it available through our services and has concluded that ILV is not a security or derivative under Canadian securities legislation; however, there is a risk that this conclusion could change in the future and that, in such event, Satstreet will be required to halt, suspend, and then remove ILV from its platform as described in the Satstreet Inc. Services Risk Statement.Further, as indicated above, no Canadian securities regulatory authority has expressed an opinion about ILV, including an opinion that ILV is not itself a security and/or derivative. Based on publicly available information Satstreet has reviewed ILV, including, but not limited to, a review of the following: The creation, governance, usage, and design of ILV, including the source code, security, and roadmap for growth in the developer community and, if applicable, the background of the developer(s) that created ILV.
