ICP (ICP)

DESCRIPTION

Internet Computer is a decentralized blockchain platform that aims to extend the functionality of the internet by providing a scalable and efficient environment for hosting and executing smart contracts and decentralized applications (DApps). Developed by the DFINITY Foundation, Internet Computer seeks to create a more open and secure internet infrastructure that can directly host software and services without relying on traditional centralized servers.

ICP serves as the native utility token of the Internet Computer platform. It is used for various purposes, including staking, governance, and transaction fees within the network. With its ambition to enable a more decentralized and resilient internet, Internet Computer aims to empower developers and users with a new paradigm for building and accessing secure and scalable internet-based applications and services.

Further, as indicated above, no Canadian securities regulatory authority has expressed an opinion about ICP, including an opinion that ICP is not itself a security and/or derivative. Based on publicly available information Satstreet has reviewed ICP, including, but not limited to, a review of the following: The creation, governance, usage, and design of ICP, including the source code, security, and roadmap for growth in the developer community and, if applicable, the background of the developer(s) that created ICP. The supply, demand, maturity, utility, and liquidity of ICP.
